Membership period runs through January 1st to December 31st each year, regardless of the time of membership fee payment. Two consecutive years of membership is required in order to participate in any election. » The person shall be residing in North America » The person shall have at least a Bachelor of Science degree in Pharmacy. » To support the profession of pharmacy in Bangladesh and in North America. » The person shall be a Bangladesh origin by virtue of birth, domicile, or descent. Membership of the Association shall consist of Active, Associate, Honorary, and Life members as outlined by the By-laws of the Association.  MEMBERSHIP TYPES  ACTIVE Active members are members who fulfill the membership criteria. They are eligible to vote, hold elective office, and nominate officers.  ASSOCIATE Any person who is of Bangladeshi origin and has been attending an accredited school or college of Pharmacy within North America for at least three (3) years is eligible for this membership. They shall have all the privileges of active members, except voting rights.  HONORARY Honorary membership may be conferred by the executive committee upon any person who has rendered exemplary service to the Association, and/or to the members of the Association. The honorary may also be conferred upon a person for some unique and special reasons. They may not have any voting rights.  LIFETIME Any active members who shall contribute to the Association an amount equal to ten (10) year's annual dues at one time shall be eligible for life membership.
